Honduras - "Manos de Mujer"

Honduras - "Manos de Mujer"

Single Origin: Honduras
Roast Level: Light-Medium
Process: Fully washed
With notes of: Honey, Vanilla, Baking Spice

Honduras “Manos de Mujer” presents a smooth, comforting cup with gentle sweetness throughout. Notes of honey and vanilla lead with a subtle finish of baking spice to add warmth and depth.

More about the bean:
This coffee comes from COMSA (Cafe Organico Marcala) in Marcala, Honduras, a cooperative founded in 2000 by a group of producers committed to transitioning from conventional to organic coffee production.

Over the years, COMSA has grown into a community-driven organization focused on sustainability, education, and long-term impact. The cooperative achieved organic certification early on and later earned Fair Trade certification, using premiums to support local initiatives like education and community development.

“Manos de Mujer,” meaning “Women’s Hands,” highlights the work and leadership of women producers within the cooperative. Their care and attention are reflected in every step of the process, resulting in a coffee that’s as thoughtful as it is approachable.
